Naukri
Tailor your resume for Naukri jobs, without starting over.
Capture a posting from Naukri, see how well your resume fits it, and get your own DOCX back with the role’s keywords where your experience supports them. Your formatting stays; nothing is invented.
Why Naukri needs a tailored resume
On Naukri you are found twice: once when you apply, and again when a recruiter searches the resume database for people who match a role. Both come down to whether your profile and your resume use the words the job uses.
A recruiter searching for a “data analyst with SQL and Power BI” types those terms. A resume that says “built reports from the warehouse” may describe exactly that work and still not come up. Applications often land in an applicant tracking system as well, and it does the same kind of matching. That is why one generic resume sent to fifty Naukri postings does worse than five resumes that each speak the posting’s language. How to find those words in a posting is covered in finding keywords in a job description.
The fix is not to paste the posting into your resume. Keyword stuffing reads badly to the person who opens the file, and claiming a skill you do not have ends in an interview you cannot pass. Tailoring means saying what you actually did, in the language the role uses.
Your Naukri profile
Four fields that decide whether you are found.
Tailoring the resume file is one part. These are the profile fields worth matching to the roles you want.
Resume headline
Name the role you are applying for in the words postings use for it, plus your strongest one or two skills. “Backend developer, Java and Spring Boot, 4 years” says more to a search than “Passionate engineer”.
Key skills
List the skills you can defend, spelled the way postings spell them. If postings say “Power BI” and your profile says “PowerBI”, an exact search may not find you.
Profile summary
Two or three sentences on the kind of work you do and the results it produced. It is often read right after the headline.
Attached resume
The file a recruiter downloads. This is where tailoring matters most, because it is what gets read line by line once your profile has been shortlisted.
With SwitchWithAI
From a Naukri posting to a tailored resume, in four steps.
Most of it takes seconds. The part that takes a minute is reading the changes, which is the part that should.
01
Open the posting on Naukri
With the SwitchWithAI extension installed, open any job on naukri.com and capture it. The title, company and full description come across; nothing to copy or paste.
02
See how well you fit first
Before a run is spent, the fit check shows which requirements your resume already covers and which it does not. A role that asks for five things you have never done is worth knowing about now.
03
Tailor your own DOCX
The posting’s terms are worked into the lines where your experience supports them. Your fonts, columns and margins stay as they are, and you accept or dismiss each change.
04
Put it on your profile
Download the file and upload it to Naukri, or let the extension do it: it can upload the tailored resume to your own Naukri profile using the session you are already signed in with.
The whole flow, with the review screen up close, is on how it works. What the AI changes and what it never touches is on the AI resume tailor page.
Before you apply
Four checks for any AI-tailored resume.
Whichever tool tailored it, including the ones built into job portals, read the result against your original before it goes out.
01
Is it still your layout?
Some tools rebuild your resume into their own standard template. If you designed yours, make sure the version you send still looks like it.
02
Are your dates and total experience unchanged?
Check every start and end date, and the years of experience in your summary. A misread date can turn four years into four months, and a recruiter filtering by experience will skip you.
03
Is anything repeated?
Look for a project, role or bullet that now appears twice. Repetition reads as padding to the person who opens the file.
04
Is it still the same length?
A one-page resume that has grown to two pages, often with a few stray lines on the second, is harder to read than the original.
SwitchWithAI is built around these four: it writes into your own DOCX, never changes dates, titles or numbers, only rewords lines that are already there, and tightens spacing to keep your page count.
Naukri
Questions about tailoring for Naukri.
How do I tailor my resume for a Naukri job?
Read the posting for the skills and terms it repeats, then make sure the lines in your resume that show that work use the same words, only where they are true. With SwitchWithAI you capture the posting from Naukri with the Chrome extension, check your fit, and get your own DOCX back with those terms worked in and every change shown for you to accept.
Should I change my Naukri profile as well as my resume?
Yes. Recruiters search Naukri's resume database by keyword, so your resume headline and key skills should use the words postings for your target role use. The attached resume is what gets read once you are shortlisted, so tailor that file to the role you are applying for.
Can SwitchWithAI upload the tailored resume to my Naukri profile?
The Chrome extension has an optional action that uploads your tailored resume to your own Naukri profile, using the browser session you are already signed in with. It runs only when you trigger it, and SwitchWithAI never sees your Naukri password. You can also download the file and upload it yourself.
Is keyword stuffing a good idea for Naukri?
No. A list of pasted keywords reads badly to the recruiter who opens the file, and claiming a skill you do not have tends to end in an interview you cannot pass. Use the posting's words to describe work you actually did.
Your next Naukri application, tailored.
Upload your resume once. Every posting after that takes about a minute.
