1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SwitchWithAI (website, Chrome extension, and services), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, visitors, and others who access or use SwitchWithAI.

2. Use of Service

You agree to use SwitchWithAI only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the service. Prohibited behavior includes:

• Uploading misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive resume content
• Fabricating skills, credentials, or experience you do not possess
• Using the service to impersonate another person or entity
• Attempting to hack, overload, or damage the platform
• Violating hiring platform policies (LinkedIn, Naukri, etc.)
• Misusing the Chrome extension or circumventing authentication
• Collecting or scraping data from the platform

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

During onboarding, you must provide accurate information about your resume, experience, and skills. You are responsible for reviewing extracted details and correcting inaccuracies before relying on them.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of any resume, job description, or content you upload to SwitchWithAI. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and use that content to provide the service (tailoring, parsing, PDF generation, etc.).

You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and share any content with us. Do not upload proprietary, confidential, or copyrighted materials belonging to others without permission.

5. Browser Extension Authorization

The Chrome extension's optional profile-update feature acts on a job portal (currently Naukri) using your own, already-authenticated browser session — the same way a browser extension for password managers or shopping deals fills in a form on your behalf. By turning this feature on, you authorize SwitchWithAI to upload your tailored resume file to your own profile on that portal.

We never request, see, or store your job-portal password. You are responsible for keeping your own review of what gets uploaded — the extension shows you what it did and does not submit job applications on its own unless you separately enable and confirm that action.

Job portals may change their site at any time in ways that break this feature or that violate their own terms of use; you are responsible for complying with the terms of any third-party site the extension interacts with.

6. AI-Assisted Features

SwitchWithAI uses AI (Gemini API) to help parse resumes, generate tailored versions, verify content, and suggest improvements. These AI outputs are tools to assist you, not guarantees of accuracy or success.

You are fully responsible for reviewing AI-generated resumes before submitting them to employers. We do not guarantee that tailored resumes will pass ATS systems, generate interviews, or result in job offers.

7. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwitchWithAI and its owners, operators, and service providers shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions, errors, or missing features
• Inaccuracy of AI outputs or parsed resume data
• Job application rejections or lack of employment outcomes
• Damage to your reputation from AI-generated content you submitted

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

SwitchWithAI is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses.

We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any AI-generated or parsed content.

9. Intellectual Property

SwitchWithAI, including its interface, design, code, and branding, is owned by or licensed to SwitchWithAI. All rights are reserved. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without permission.

Your uploaded resumes remain your property. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve the product, but we will not sell or share your personal resume content with third parties.

10. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are prepaid for the period shown (monthly or quarterly) and do not auto-renew. We never charge your payment method again without you choosing a new plan.

There is nothing to cancel: your plan simply ends on its expiry date, shown on the Billing page. If a paid run failed or produced a file you could not use, contact support within 7 days of purchase and we will review a refund of the unused portion.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in illegal activity, or misuse the service. Upon termination, your access to SwitchWithAI will be immediately revoked.

You may delete your account anytime through account settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days.

12. Third-Party Services

SwitchWithAI integrates with third-party services (Google, Razorpay, Gemini API, etc.). We are not responsible for those services' privacy practices, outages, or terms. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the 'Last Updated' date. Your continued use of SwitchWithAI after changes means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
