Is this ATS resume checker useful for jobs in India?
Yes. You can paste the exact job description from Naukri, LinkedIn, a company careers page or another job portal and check parsing, structure and the terms your resume already supports. It does not know an employer's private screening rules and does not promise an interview.
What does the ATS resume score measure?
The score combines text extraction, standard section recognition, formatting risk, file-format risk, and keyword alignment when a job description is supplied. The line-item findings show which signals changed the score.
Does a high ATS score guarantee an interview?
No. The checker estimates whether typical recruiting software can parse and match the resume; it cannot predict a recruiter's decision, candidate competition, or an employer's private screening rules.
Should I upload my resume or paste its text?
Upload the actual DOCX, PDF, or TXT file when you want layout and file-format checks. Pasted text can be checked for sections, content, and keywords, but it cannot prove how tables, columns, fonts, or graphics will parse.
Is a job description required for an ATS check?
No. The checker can inspect parsing and structure without a job description. Add one when you also want keyword-alignment feedback for a specific role.
Do you keep my resume after the check?
Not on our servers. Your resume is read for this check only and then forgotten. If you leave “Set up my profile from this resume” ticked, your browser keeps the file until you sign up, so your profile can start from it; untick it and nothing is kept. Only the job posting’s terms may reach an AI model.
What should I do after the check?
