What the Scores Mean
Several different questions, deliberately not collapsed into one number.

ATS compatibility
Whether the document parses: contact details readable, sections recognisable, dates consistent. Mechanical, and fixable.
Keyword coverage
Which prominent terms from the posting your resume already supports. Coverage you cannot evidence is reported as missing, not added.
Fit
Whether this role is a reasonable match for your actual history. A low fit is information about the role, not a defect in your resume.
Before
A single '82% match' figure.
After
Compatibility 86 · coverage 12 of 18 terms · fit low, four requirements unevidenced.
The first tells you nothing actionable. The second tells you the document is fine, the language is close, and the real problem is that you may not be a candidate for this role — three different responses.
Do this before moving on
On your next run, read the fit signal before the compatibility score. If fit is low, fixing formatting will not change the outcome.
